I just got back from the track and i am impressed with my car. i was able to get my car to halfway hook up at the track and launching the car at 2500rpm's was able to run a 13.772 at 105.9 mph. i think i did pretty well. what do yall think does this sound right for a stock pi headswapped gt? my future plans fothe car are to finish off the exhaust and add a k&n.

Very nice.

Non-PI cars actually get a higher compression ratio when they put PI heads on than 99+ cars. Lucky bastards.

Great run. Have you had the car dynoed? With that MPH, I bet you are putting some nice power to the wheels. Congrats

The headswap is the way to go with our slugs get some good sixties and let us know.

I put 240hp and 280tq down after my swap and I will get to the track sunday. With my crappy tires and 4.10's I doubt there will be anything special but I cant wait.

Either way a spinning 15 sec is better than a solid hooking 15 sec run at least you know there is some more potential there.

my 60' was a 2.09...is that good? there was a slight bit of wheelspin but just enough to get me in the powwerband and with those lakewoods i had no problem getting the forward motion started. my car feels stock down low, but when i gte into the top os secong gear and into the later gears is when it really starts wanting to go...there is a lot of top end power with my car for some reason

Before my supercharger I ran 13.5 @ 101 mph. My 60 ft times were about 1.9 My car dynoed @248rwhp and 288rwt. Now I Dyno @ 396 rwhp and 396rwt. I dont know what I will run yet because my clutch is slipping. With a bad clutch I ran 12.60 at 114mph.

i also forgot to add that i didnt have the rear seat or the spare tire. and the front sway bar is off, so i guess there is some weight reduction to the car...there is also no sound insulation in the back of the car.

i dont know the atmospheric conditions...but i did buy the car used. when i bought the car the salesman told me it had gears and the mac-cat-back exhaust...and that was all he knew of. i dont know of anything else that could have been done to it. i have only added the other stuff in my sig. which includes the headswap, clutch, transmission, and lakewood control arms. these times seem to good to be true which is why i am wandering what my car really has in it.
