started her up and the starter solenoid (mounted on the firewall) smoked and the battery blew up. can't figure it why it blew up. on the starter it has to terminals one small and one large, I hooked the stock starter wire up to the large terminal, and moved the location of it on the starter soleniod to the battery side, and i hooked a 12 gauge wire to the small terminal, and hooked it up where the the stock wire was. did do something wrong? the starter is making noises when the engine is being turned over,
