just installed intake manifold.. help!

now that i installed it... when i use my air.. it seems like its shooting coolant thru the vents (the odd spec) and my evaporation tube ? (haynes manual) is leaking coolant like mad - is there something supposed to be attached to it ? Lol.. its right above the passenger side exhaust manifold ....

i mean below that.. it looks like a frost plug or something like that... i dunno... it looks like it'd be coming from my heater core almost... right above the passenger side exhaust manifold little black 1x1 inch thing

well here are 2 pictures.. its right above the exhaust manifold on the passenger side.... those are the best picutres I could get... its a small hole that looks like somethig should be attached.. but i dunno for sure... i dont even know what the hell it is :/ im guessing its attached to my heater core.... but i dunnio for sure...

This isn't going to be much of a help but ... is it a small tube sticking out with liquid dripping from it? Reason I ask is because on my truck, something is leaking onto my floorboard and I was looking at my firewall and saw some small pipe looking deal that I have no idea what it is. Sounds like what you are talking about too ... same location, under the heater core hoses and to the right a little. I'm trying to figure out what it is too ........

Also, what do you mean when you say it 'seems' like there is coolant shooting through your vents?

it was just condensation in my car... was shooitng it thru - but wasnt coolant :P hehehehh

mine is on the engine bay side.. its like like a rubber gromet and seems like a small rubber hose... just shoots the coolant out :/

i checked thru my manual... its coming out of the "evaporation tube" which is connected to the heater core on the interior... theres alittle bit of fluid in my interior aswell.... so i guess its my heater core assembly

:/ what do you mean it isnt fun.. sigh.

how many hours does it take for a tech to do it? maybe ill just get ford to fix it for me

expect a hefty bill if you take it somewhere to be done.

i did mine a few weeks ago. it sucks, but not nearly as bad as i thought it would.

i figure i did it in about 7-8 hours of total working time, split over 1 1/2 days.

you'll have to pull your dash out to get to the heater box.
