just one more problem

Did you put water in it yet? if water shoots out of the radiator you blew a head gasket

First pull the valve cover and check that the valve is going up and down might be bent and staying stuck open

rotate crank to TDC both valves should be closed
pressurize cylinder with air hose Is any air leaking out?
1] carb =intake valve
2] exhaust= exhaust valve
3] crankcase = broken rings

number 3 ---drop the pan and pull the #1 piston after checking valve timing
