Excellent choice. Macs are one of the best sounding mufflers imo. It could go either way on the install. My buddy's car has a mac x-pipe and mac cat back and it all fit together great. My car has a Mac x-pipe, and I had no fitment problems either. A lot of people say they do though. Sometimes I think it's the tool holding the tools.

I should forward this off to the techs at SLP cause they had a hell of a time getting the MAC system to fit on my car without hitting anything....as did I.

ok hi your car sounds bad ass. I know your running the TF top end kit - i have a "similar" setup. Im just running edelbrock performer intake, TF wedge heads and an f-cam.. i know your kit has the TFStage 1 cam, but dude, mine sounds MILD compaired to yours... have a listen...

no they arnt like stingers, they look like oem mufflers, tons of packing with like the tubing going at a 45 degree angle straight through. I want XR1s eventually Im not sure, Im probably gonna get hooked on chambered mufflers after these macs, Im sitting here looking out the window waiting for UPS to come lol.

I think thats just how F-cam's sound really, its a popular turbo cam, my buddy runs one in his 351 t urbo car.

5.0s SHOULD sound raspy and it just doesnt sound right when they have really deep tones like magnaflow/borla etc..

I cant speak for borla, but you've apparently never heard magnaflows before. Magnaflows are some of the raspiest sounding muffles I have ever heard.

I had macs, I wanted raspier, and now decided my new mufflers are LESS raspy then the old ones...

I guess Im going big now! Get some vids, I actually think the Macs are very underrated (to me anyways)!

lol, ok I know what you mean by them cocking out were'd, mine do that exact same thing, only way I can see to fix it is to cut it right after the last ball&socket joint and weld it back on at a different angle. Sounds awesome! Now I know what mine sounds like. never heard it from behind.
