Just ordered my 05 GT Stang

Hello everybody. I recently ordered my first mudtang on 11/05/04. I ordered a Redfire GT with a 5-speed manual transmission, the interrior upgrade package, machined wheels, and wheel locks. The dealer told me it should take about 4-8 weeks for it to come in. Does that sound accurate? Because the demand is so high on these mustang will it take longer? If so, how long?

My wife has a 65 stang. I am thinking about getting the 05 GT. Only thing is I would need to sell my 86 Porsche 911 Cab to get it. Am I crazy for thinking about selling the Porsche to get the new GT?

Good luck I ordered mine 10/25 they told me 3 to 6 week and 3 weeks later and haven gotten my VIN yet. From what have read it's more like 6 to 12 weeks. Todd

Uh, Congrats on the order but if it comes in that quick I will be real surprized. Ordered mine 9/28. Still no VIN or nothing. Still patiently waiting...

Ordered mine on 9/21, still no VIN. They are waiting to make it cause they are out of the MyColor part for the Internal Upgrade Package (IUP).

Best guestimate I have to see the car is sometime in January.
