I know there is another thread similar to this one, but I thought I'd share my night's hard work too
Here's what it looked like at first.
The left side it untoutched, and the right side has been sanded with 80 grit.
Here it is after the 80, 120, and 180...I almost wanted to stop here because it looks 100% better than it did...not to mention my wrist was starting to get really fatigued and sore.
Good thing I kept going, because here it is after 320, 400, 600, 1000 and 2000 grit (wet sanding at 400 and up)
After a really sore wrist, a huge blister on my thumb, and some polish, here is the finished product.
And here's what it looks like atop my ugly, dirty engine
Well...that was my project for the evening...now, I will go to sleep and dream about my headers that should be arriving tomorrow
