Just read Dec. issue of 5.0 Mustang

well anyway, they do a breakdown of all the usual bolt ons to the 2v mustang on a 00 GT and managed to get 250.4hp to the wheels with a K&N drop in, removed silencer (which, by the way, didnt add ANY hp at all and dropped peak Tq DOWN one ft/lb), an after cat exhaust, X pipe, and pulleys, so on stock timing, intake, TB, plenum, Airbox, MAF, etc...made 250 to the wheels


now thats on a 2000 so its PI heads correct?

on a 96 could i come close to that 250 mark with the following
SLP cat back, Anderson or similar power pipe, pulleys, and a Diablo chip to advance timing?

not a plug...but its a SOLID list of parts and nothing OUTRAGEOUS

96-98's need the PI headswap to make thos #'s with relitively small amount of mods, otherwise you'll need quite a few of them

around a 40-60rwhp increase

I thought Powerpipes were for Supercharged applications










Also what kind of X-pipe did the Mag use?

nope, but im workin on gettin some heads and then ill just take a day and work till i get em swapped, 'rents wont ever know what happened
