I am not sure what the dollar amounts are in Canada. X-plan prices tend to be just over invoice price.

Plan prices are fixed, and you can't haggle them down nor can a dealer charge you a penny more.

Ask to see the dealer invoice. It is stated right on there what the A plan and X plan prices are. It's no big secret and the dealer shouldn't have a problem with it. If they do, you should go somewhere else.

There is not alot of mark up in Mustangs, so X plan does not drop the price much. There is much more in SUVs.

That sounds about right. My '01 Cobra Convertible stickered at $33.8k and I think I got it at $31.2k on X plan.

So acording to the bank of canada based on rates from noon on the 15th, $36200 is converted to $30,088.94 USD and $33500 is converted to $27844.73 USD.
