I like it. My stang idles smoother than it ever did.
Yes, I could have joined that thread about seafoam. But I'm skeptical about introducing new products to my stang. Reading the reviews on this stuff, I thought I'd giver it a shot.

It's amazing! I use the old school method of detecting an ill tuned motor. I 3/4 cover a tailpipe with a towel and feel for the pops in the exhaust.

After I ran that stuff through my intake, it's gone.

It smoked for only about 2 minutes on and off. Heavy when I laid into it. Then it went away.

I dropped 3/4 can into the intake and 1/4 can into the oil.

I plan on doing this every 2 months.

Great results and the motor is probably thanking me. It can breathe.

Just wanted to post this, as I don't like adding anything aside of fuel injection cleaner and the odd octane boost when I buy a bad batch of gas.

I think you're going to love this stuff. My stang was idling rough, pinging and bucking like son of a gun in 5th at 45-50 mph.

GONE... all of them. And the exhaust is a tight and steady rumble, instead of the ocassional fart.

I'm 100% sold on this stuff.

you're running a SC and your car is pinging? shouldnt you be a little more worried about that?

I may need to try this stuff, sounds like it did wonders for you. Is WOT feeling any better?

Mine doesnt ping, and the slight bucking is from the cams (I think). But I do have idle problems sometimes, especially after going WOT for a little while and then coming to a stop...it was dieing durring my breaking last time to the track. Fluctuating 500-900 tonight after WOT and then pushing the clutch in...goes away after you take back off though.

Seafoam is the ****. However, I've never put it on the oil and never will. Through the intake and in the gas tank only for my car.

I just finished reading/looking at the 13 page Thread. I need to go buy 2 bottles of this stuff. I want to see how bad it will smoke with 28,500 miles of abuse, should make for a good smoke show.

I have 34K (make that 35.5) on my 04 lol...you must not drive it much . I havnt even changed the fuel filter lol...I think it may need it though.

WOT feels much more solid.
As far as the other post about being supercharged with ping/detonation... yes I was very converned.

Looks like seafoam cleared it up. Last night after the treatment, I ran it and it went sideways in 2nd at only about 3000 RPM's.

I just like how smooth this motor runs now.

I'm totally sold, as opposed to being scheptical.

In the old days, I sprayed gunk into my 4 barrel carb and manually raised the RPM's. It was a smole show then too. The results paid off then, and they do with this seafoam stuff today.

Good stuff. Great job on creating a product that actually cleans the throttle body so thouroughly.

I drive it mainly on weekends and to/from the track.

I am guessing either the PVC valve or the little onewith two red lines coming off of it.

You can suck it in through any vacuum line that leads to the manifold, but the PCV is the best spot. Also, has anyone else ever tried the GM Top Engine Cleaner or am I the only one?? That stuff is way better than seafoam.

who cares, for 5 bucks and 5 minutes of youre time what have you got to lose?

btw i seafomed a buddy's 94 5.0, and he said it made a huge improvement.

its reccomended after running the seafoam through the car, to replace the spark plugs as well, as they can get fouled up when all the carbon is getting pushed out the motor.

i need to do a tune up on my car(80k) in a bit here, gonna change all filters(re-oil my intake filter), change all fluids, plugs + wires, and run some seafoam through it.
