i hear crane talking about ls swaps all the time and i was just wondering if one was to do this what would be involved? Also I'm not saying this is gonna happen. I am just tossing around the idea as i am going to the Desert on a deployment and will have some spare cash to throw around on the old crustang:D

You have to understand most of the time its just to start ****. Next fox may get an lsx, but im still doing my research on weight, and things of that nature. You'll need a computer, engine harness, motor mounts, tranny mount, driveshaft, and lots more im sure.

Let me google that for you

didnt mean to disappoint but i did look alot up on google and on ls1 tech and it was mostly guys talking about doing one rather than doing it or a hey pm so and so and i never got answers. I have also seen vids of them on youtube so i figured someone on this site might have done it already:shrug:

Thats wat i was thinking crane so thanks! and at least i didnt post another wat hci should i get and then end up going gt40 like 90% of threads

haha that is wat i was thinking :D and this is just for *****s and giggles if the crustang ever blows its engine cuz i can get my hands on a perfect ls1 computer and t56 for 500 clams! it belongs to my brother and he is willing to hook me up

Well buy all that stuff and stick it in something else other than your foxbody...Putting a LS in a foxbody is retarded, There's nothing a Windsor engine can't do that the LS can.

The corral has an entire section of their forums dedicated to LS swaps. Go muddy up their website with this crap. :p

*Sounding like Butthead* Uh, huh huh....That was AWESOME.....huh huh....

You know if you bought a whole car for parts like a wrecked one or something I bet it wouldn't be that bad of a swap. might need to get
creative on some stuff like the speedometer and use some fox sending
units for the gauges but I bet it wouldn't be that hard.
I don't like those engines at all but if we all had the same opinion
we wouldn't have a very wide selection.
I have seen some swaps that I thought were stupid or ugly but that
doesn't mean that I can't appreciate the creatively, thought and
labor it took to screw up a nice car.
Look what a f*****g mess I made of this Olds for my son.
Now that's ugly,, but he likes it 24's"
