K&N CAI plus Pulley requires a tune?

Hello everybody,

I just bought a 07 and I installed a Pypes X pipe and a GT bumper. Sweet sound but I will probably install a set of GT mufflers since it is a daily driver and the Pypes muffler sound is starting to bother me a little bit.

Anyway, the question is if a V6 pulley will require a tune? This is a daily driver and I put a 80 miles a day so I will use 87 octane gas.

The other modification I am planning is the K&N CAI that does not require Tune.

Since I am using 87 I do not think it makes sense to tune the car.

most intakes worth a damn require a tune. you can choose 3 different tunes when buying. you can tell them what parts you have now. so they can tune for that. so you can pick an 87 octane tune. then say a 93 octane tune for when you want to have some fun.


and i love my pypes they sound nice. i never get sick of it. even my girlfriend thinks they sound nice. the only problem i have is. i get backfiring when i do burnouts.
