Which one would you recommend? Any personal experiences with either would also be appreciated.

I have K&N FIPK but it was on my car when I bought it so I wouldn't know the difference from stock.

I did K&N FIPK. It fits well and it does give you some actual gains. It also looks cool. My dad did it as well, and felt a difference over his K&N drop-in filter in his '01.

I can say that volants quality is very good. I have one on my Focus ZX3 and I was quite impressed. I have a Steeda on my Cobra

I have one also and I like it. Don't expect 10hp gains but you will notice the car pulls harder in the upper RPM's

I have one on the Mach and I like it a lot. When I had the GT I looked at the Volant kit, but I went with Desencharger. K&N makes a VERY good peice!!!

Where did you find one for the mach? My father has been looking all over for one for his 04mach but couldn't find anything worth a piece that had the shaker opening.

There was a group buy about 2 months ago on another web site I go to.

We all got them from here:

Parkway Performance Center
1-888-FORD-SVT
www.parkwayperformance.com

Ask for Joe Charles.

We just put a fipk on my buddies 01 cobra, looks great, great quality, and good gains on the street. We're going to the track in a couple weeks, so I'll post some #'s with and without. Also, taking out the right headlight makes it peform even better.

I have the Volant on my 02.

The pipes are super glossy on the inside for best flow.

I sit in traffic so a cold air kit was a must.

Quality and fit was like a rubber glove and customer service is TOP NOTCH.

I give it a 9.5 rating (super anal)

Here's a pic of my '97 with the K&N. Quality is really nice but I can't really say I felt a increase. I wish I had orange gaskets My black one's look so plain.
