Just finished installation of VT Stage 2 Heads and Comp XE268H cams.

We couldn't understand why we could not get more rwh than pervious unported. We had to add fuel like crazy to keep A/F inline. MAF would not go above 4.6. Drove us nuts.. Changed mass air table alot. Had to get a different computer. The 02 would not lets us add anymore fuel .

Decided to check vacuum on intake. Noticed vacuum reaching almost 10 . hmmm... Tried KB pipe, vacuum reached max of 4 (Still some opportunities here). Got 60+ rwh just by reducing vacuum.

With the KB pipe we couldnt even get past 3000 rpm. Black smoke/super rich.
Dam.. whats up. Decided to start fresh with standard lightning Mass air settings. Yahoo... 60+ more horse power. Much more like it.

MAC CAI

KB CAI

Questions:
What was your final HP and what intake parts did you
end up with? Lightning mass air settings good choice. Your ride looks reeeally good.Noticed blue filter is that from mac kit? Confused seems like you didn't lose power once you sorted it out. What AFR did you end up with? Again clean ride.

The black pipe to the TB is the standard KB pipe. KB has done a lot of testing . I shold have listened. The pipe is as wide as the MAF then reduces to 75mm TB size. This pipe added 60+ rwh by reducing the vacum . More volume.

The cromed pipe with the blue sleeves is from MAC.

The filter and shield is from the Steeda / Cobra kit.

I still have to find the additional 4 inches of vacum.. Could gain more.
