Hey guys I have a 96 Cobra which is bone stock besides a H-pipe. I am looken at a Kenne bell 1.5l supercharger. What kind of stuff should I do to support this? Headers, injectors, etc? Also what kind of power would I be looken at with this blower? Any info on this would be helpful, since this is totally new to me.
thx terry

I would use BBK L/T's, you have an H pipe, and get a catback exhaust system. Then go with a 255lph in tank pump, and additional in line pump, a good set of injectors, and a good cold air induction system.
I would also advice you to buy a nice aluminum radiator like Steeda, or Fluidyne. I got one, and it really made my car run a lot cooler....worth the 400 bucks!!

The kits don't make power like the 03-04 Cobras. Kenne Bell customers usually see between 360-380RWHP. If you wan't big power, go with a Vortech or a Procharger system. Runs 8-10lbs of boost, and see 400RWHP-450RWHP.

Unless you're buying used, KB is no longer selling the 1.5. They now have a 2.1. The kit comes with everything you need. No bigger injectors or fuel pump are needed. They use an FMU and a Boost-A-Pump that raises fuel pressure when needed. If you install a bigger pump it will run WAAAY rich and an additional pump will literally flood the engine out. Been there, done that. The kit also comes with a custom chip. When you order it, you have to fill out a questionaire about what mods you have and they burn the chip based on that. As far as the radiator is concerned, a high dollar aluminum radiator isn't going to hurt anything, but KB supplies a manual fan switch that you can use to help cool the radiator if needed. As of yet, I haven't needed.

If you want to eliminate all the supporting stuff that KB supplies and re-engineer the thing yourself, knock yourself out. But the kit comes complete and is pretty much plug & play. If you decide to get one and want some advice from someone that has actually installed one and lived with one, feel free to PM me with any questions.
