Not a KB guy ..... but, I'm thinking you can mount it wherever you'd like. I'd put it out of sight, though.

You'll probably have to lengthen the connector wires and if you do so, use solder and shrink tubing. When I had my KB, I had it next to where the cold air tube went through the inner fender. I think KB sells a mount to put it near the snout bracket somewhere.

You are supposed to mount it behind the power steering pump. Should have come with a black bracket.

It attaches to the front of the exhaust manifold with the nut and bracket notch toward the front of the car.
Go to www.schwarzmann.com to find the complete installation instructions. Check out the garage section, it has the whole installation manual posted. Figure 14 shows mounting bracket installed.

I mounted mine with the KB on the driver shock tower with the suplied bracket bent down and attached to the strut tower brace mounting holes. Worked VERY well. Mounting it where KB says works if you have stock headers but not large tubes. And I liked moving it away from the heat.

I can post picks if you like.

I had the blowzilla and it fit nicely under the bypass tubing.
