i'm thinking about going back to stock gears after getting the kenne bell in, since i will have no more worries about low end torque and it is a daily driver.

it would be really nice to turn 1700 rpms at 70mph on the highway. it'd also be really nice to have accurate odometer and speedometers again.

thoughts?

Is the KB already in?

I think I would get it in and drive it a bit first. I think 3.73's will be a bit much but 2.73's or 3.08's are probably not enough. I would think 3.23 or 3.55 would be perfect. If it were me I think I would jsut stay with the 3.73's though for the fact that you already have them and you are already having fun.

ive always wondered what a low gearer 3.08 , 3.27 hell even 3.55 geared mustang with some power behind it would feel like .

if anyone has any experience with that let me hear about it

I ran 3.73's on my car when it had a KB on it and it was just fine. With DRs traction was not a problem for me at the track. With my current combo I had to switch to 3.55's because I would rev the motor too high going through the traps. For around town, I can barely tell a difference - on the highway it is MUCH nicer with the 3.55s. I think a KB with 3.27s would be OK...
