if i buy this kenne bell 6 psi supercharger do i need to buy anything else for my stock 04 gt 5spd to prevent damage or make the most power out of the supercharger i can.

You need a new set of plugs..and that's about it.

When we installed mine..we had to upgrade the fuel pump...it was the 2nd KB install up here (Toronto Canada)...and for some reason...our stock fuel pumps couldn't keep up with the tune.

$140 later...problem fixed.

You might want to pop for Fuel Pressure and Boost guages...but they're not neccessary.

And I'd set aside a budget for dyno time...and a custom tune if you've got an SCT guy in your area. Any good tuner will make her run safe...hence preventing any damage.

To prevent damage you are going to want to stick with the tune from Kenne Bell. I think fuel pressure and boost guages are a must, you can monitor you boost levels and fuel pressure, then if something looks fishy, you can hopefully catch it before it does any real damage. To make the most power out of the supercharger, you would want to lean it out, run higher octane, and more boost. Safe and most power don't go together. I just installed my KB 6psi last weekend and the pull is amazing, but I have a 01 GT and the higher compression heads are killing me. KC@KB is going to let me know what to expect from the dyno next Monday, I was expecting around 350rwhp, but I think I am expecting too much.

I'd guess around 335-345rwhp, considering your only other power mod is the muff's, get a good mid-pipe and headers and you will be breaking 350 no problem.
