Just curious what the effects a 40-50shot would have on a KB blower set up. I have the nitrous kit from a previous install and would like to install it on a window switch from 3500-6000rpm in 3rd & 4th gears. Am I being greedy? or should I just sell the kit and be done with it?

Better be ready for a built motor if you do it because it's gonna wake that mother up big time!

My KB at 9 psi made 485 rwhp/482 rwtq. Adding a 100 shot wet kit and backing timing off 6 degrees yielded 568 rwhp/630 rwtq so although your'e not talking about a 100 shot you can see how wicked nitrous on a blower car can be. Good luck!

It would be a wicked combo thats all i can say. Intercooling affect which the KB needs and already intercooled blower. Id never do it without a built engine though...too dangerous.

I remember reading somewhere that if you used N20 on a blown engine, then it's equal to 1.5 to 2 times the shot value. So, a 50 shot should be a 75 or 100 shot.

The reason being that nitrous cools the air ALOT as well as adding the extra oxygen. So, in effect, it's like adding a giant cryogenically cooled intercooler to your blower.

Where did you spray the nitrous/fuel? Did you tune for the nitrous besides taking back some timing?

I'm interested in doing this on my car. Its a different setup than yours, being a centrifugal blower. I was thinking a 50-75 dry shot through the air filter, hopefully not having to retune. I wonder how much benefit I would see with a setup like this.

Here's a pic of it and yes, I had a 4 bank chip with a nitrous tune on the car. I used a nitrous works wet kit and there's no way I'd spray a blown car without at least getting a retune.
