i lost a key to my GT a few weeks ago. I'm sure it is the house somewhere but i have been unable to find it. I questioned my 6 yr old because he is a "collector" but no luck. I bought the key today but i didn't have time for them to program it so i am going back tomorrow. dealer said they needed the car a hour and a half to program it.

the manual says you need to have 2 keys already programmed before you can follow the manuals procedure to program a third key. is there any way around it only have only one key and trying to program a second one by myself?

also, what actually are they doing? should i take out the CAI and return it to stock before i let them work on it?

thanks

thanks guys. just as expected i found the lost key the day i bought the new one. like i said i didn't have it programmed at the dealership yet so now that i have the 2 original keys i was able to program the third key myself.
