Ok so I just got this 02 mustang off a ford lot. Its clean we like it. I am away at school so I cant really mess witht he dealer. I call my parents to see what the dealer said to our offer, only to find out that we had got the car but it didnt have keyless entry or an alarm. Now if I am not mistaken on an 02 gt keyless entry and alarms come stock. Should I argue with the dealer about getting it or just buy it on my own?

It seems your asking if the lack of keyless should be a deal breaker?

That's up to you. I personally would be a lot more interested in finding out how the vehicle was treated previously. All 02' GT's came with keyless standard and all you have to do is pick up any standard key fob (they're cheap as hell on ebay) and program it for your car. There area plenty of how-to's online related to programing it. Not that this is the case but I have noticed that people who don't take care of their stuff have a tendency to loose things (like keyfobs).

Good luck.

Huh? I feel dumberer after reading that. Good thing you're away at school. Guess you haven't taken that grammar class yet?

Its to my understanding that the mustang gt did not come with a factory alarm, just keyless entry w/ panic alarm. I have a 02' torch red GT, and I got the deluxe package, and it came stock with keyless entry. It came with 2 key fobs. But I could be wrong.

First things first sorry about how sloppy and ignorant the original post seemed. I was in a hurry and i was trying to get it up while I was packing, cleaning, and basically getting the hell out of my room. I do believe someone posted about how they are glad i am in school because I cant write or something so I just wanted he/she to know why it sucked so bad. As for the thing with the car I looked on www.edmunds.com and it said it that an 02 gt came standard with keyless entry and alarm but thats only one source.

the "alarm" isnt the alarm you are probably thinking of. All it is, is a panic button on the keyless control. There is also the "anti-theft" thing which doesn't let the car start unless the correct key is being used (I'm pretty sure thats what it does, don't take my word for it tho)

Not necessarily, the active alarm will flash the lights and honk the horn if you open a door or the trunk after the system is armed. The PATS already makes it next to impossible to steal a Mustang without a tow truck...
