The key remote used to work fine, then one day it didn't.
I assumed the remote ran out of batteries and went to an auto parts store and replaced them, but it still didn't have any effect on my car. I went back in and they checked it with an RF detector and it was giving off a signal.
It has been a while and it is possible that they key remote never worked, as I used to have 2 but lost one, but I doubt it. I have also disconnected the car computer from under the passenger kick panel to get around it for running speaker wire.
What would you recommend I try? I'll go out and do whatever right now
