I don't see an electrical section so I'm hoping that I'm putting this in the right place.
1998 Mustang Convertible.
The problem is that any time we use the keyless entry system to lock the doors or even when we use the key the alarm goes off within five minutes. If we push the lock down by hand then close the door, no problems. But anything we do that sets the alarm, it will go off within five minutes of being set. We don't have any problems opening the doors with the keyless entry, and all the other functions operate properly (trunk, panic). Anyone have any ideas of what could be causing this?
