Keyless entry

I have a 1997 Mustang which came with only one key; no remote fob. I've gotten conflicting info as to whether '97 Mustangs all came standard with keyless entry. How can I tell before I spend money on a remote fob?

Should have keyless. Open your trunk and remove the left side cover. You are looking for a small computer...a black box. That should tell you if you have keyless. When I got my 96 stang, all I had were just keys also. I found two compatible key fobs and programmed them to my vehicle. You can find key fobs on ebay....don't buy em at the dealership unless you have money to burn.
