"Apply a dab of high temperature silicone sealer (gasket maker) to the keyway slot on the underdrive crankshaft balancer pulley"

Alright, what's my keyway slot... I'm pretty sure i know what it is, but I want to be 1000% certain before I do anything.

Can someone circle or explain to me exactly what the keyway slot is?

You need a picture of the pulley itself in order for someone to circle it for you. But if you look at your new crank pulley, it should have a slot cut into the inside of where it will fit onto the hub of the crankshaft. There is a key on the crank that will fit into the slot of the pulley to insure proper alignment. Just put a little RTV or sealant in the slot on the pulley. This will prevent a slight oil leak.
