Since installing a weiand stealth intake on my 65 FB, the kick down linkage geometry is not allowing me to adjust it so that it still works. I run out of threads before the linkage reaches the lever that links to the tranny. So, if I want to pass some one I have to do it manually. Not that that is a bad thing, but I'd prefer for everything to work the way it should.

Is a Lokar kick down cable my only option here, or has some one with a little more brian power all ready figured this one out?? Thanks

The I 6 kick-down linkage is suppose to be longer than the V-8. Try one of those.

Fabricate

I made mine from parts. I used a piece of metal at the transmission end to extend it. The adjustment works now.
