This is my first post here. My dad and I are building a 67 fastback and it is currently at the stereo shop.
There are boston pro series speakers in the kick panels. They had to space them out about an inch or so. There is not nearly enough space between the speaker and the clutch pedal to put your foot through and rest it on the firewall area. Even if the spacer was taken out it wouldn't be enough.
Will this interefere with driving in any way? Is the speaker high enough so it isn't a problem to put your foot under it?
Has anyone had any kind of ergonomic issues with kick panel speakers?
These questions may sound dumb, but we have never driven the car so it is difficult to judge.
