I have a kicker 600.4 pushing two diamond audio component speakers... I am using just the output from two of the channels, leaving the other two unused currently.
the problem is my amp works 50% of the time or less... I have had the amp for 5 years or so now. It almost seems like when i turn the volume down after it trips, the sound is more likely to come back on. also when it trips now the protection light doesn't come on, I believe it used to though.
Sometimes when it trips it comes right back on, other times i will be without sound for a couple of days.
also if it matters, on one of the channels I have only the tweeter from the diamond audio component hooked up because the one speaker is under repair (just throwing it out there, not sure if it needs the same juice going to each channel)
ANY IDEAS?
I dont think its the wiring since I have hooked up the sub amp wires, with the same problem still. and the sub amp works just fine.
