I quit smoking yesterday.
Figured it was about time, Its starting to affect my health. Plus I would not be able to get hired on at a fire dept if I smoke.

so, please dont take it personal if I am an ass.

Congrats, you are right about getting a good job. The company I work for hasn't hired a smoker since 1985.

actually, two days with the patch and I only had a mild headache. With moments of freaking out. I ate a pound of M&m's yesterday. it seemed to help.

This morning I rode the exercise bike for 30 minutes and ate breakfast. I have yet to put the patch on.

its been a trying day. I had two people try to sideswipe me on the freeway.

One lady who was trying to avoid a piece of card board and one who was just not paying attention.

I got to rage at them for a bit. even though they could not hear what I was saying. I think my boy learned a few new words today.

Nice, I am trying to quit as well, this is my second attempt, been smoke free for a month, hope I can keep of. Hand in there man, it gets better!

smoking is the last thing i have to worry about, actually smoking is good for me compared to the **** i breath in all night . i did quit for like 8 months but i dont know what happened? i've been smoking for 20 years now minus the 8 months that i stoped for. my neighbor is on the patch and he has some f'd up dreams cause he sleeps with it on so watch out, or for a good thrill (so i heard) sleep with it on. what i dont understand is why dont they make something like anti-abuse for smoker's? my old lady is on anti-abuse and if she drinks then she through's up and if she wears or use's anything with alcohol in it like deoderant it cause's her to break out in a bad rash. good luck man! peace

please tell me the cravings go away. Its been 2 days since I had nicotine from the patch. and 4 days since I smoked.

I keep raging for no reason today. for silly reasons.

It was so hard the first week, but now I feel better. I get cravings, but I just stay strong and not buy a pack. It's not easy, now I have to worry about not gaining weight.
