In my experience it will usually hurt you more to try and lie about it than to just own up to it. Trying to lie your way out of it implies the cop is stupid, and this is not how you want him to feel as he decides what to charge you with. Which one is worse? Driving at a high rate of speed, without insurance, or without a valid license? Obvious answer, the 140+ mph speed run is the worst part of it. Having no insurance is the next worst, and driving with a suspended license is a non-issue (to other drivers on the road, at least).pcinpdx said:Hypocritical in what way?
