This probly belongs in Talk, but ive seen questions in tech about this alot
no disrespect at all, just alot of people asking what it takes to beat the older cobras and ls1's... Well last night I raced a 96-98 cobra from a stop and from about a 25mph roll and smoked him both times
, from a roll, by about 1.5 car lengths, from a stop it was more like 3, we went to 100 both times. This was a completely stock cobra so its not surprising i won, but kinda cool to see how much the Drag radials, shortshifter and gears are worth considering hes got 40hp on me stock and my mods probly only make up half of that.. Oh and as for camaros, I can take any model stock all the way up to 98, but the 98-02 z28's can still pull on me by about a full car length usually.. cant wait for the pullies and long tubes! I know this isn't much but it sure as hell made my day! And the guy driving was cool as he** about it, one great thing about racing mustangs is they have always been respectful about it when they lose! Workin my way up the food chain
