But my buddy has a 99 cobra for sale for 11,000 i think it has 60 or 50 thousand but what kinda gas dose it take 87 or 91. And is insrance alot higher then a gt. He might want less havent talked to him in awhile he wants another dsm dunno why tho gotta love the sound of a v8 lol..

It requires premium gas but with premium usually running only about .20 more per gallon over regular and the Mustang fuel capacity being 15.6 gallons, you're truly not looking at that much difference. You're only looking at about $3.00 more per fill-up. The insurance could be a bit higher (depending on the insurance co.) but not substantially.

sounds like alot of miles, make sure those are highway miles.

also, wasnt 99 the year that ford mis represented the hp rating on the cobra? and they had a recall for all of them, in which they put on a new exhaust or something(i know they made it breath better) to rectify the issue?

if this was done, then it will have some paperwork of it, or some kind of sign on the motor. friend of mine had that done, im pretty sure his was a 99.
