ok my lower hose decided to **** up today, so i bought some rubber hoses from oreilys, got lower as well as upper for peace of mind....

question is, would it hurt it to armor all the hoses. (or similar products)to make it look good..

i dont think it would but just making sure.....

I have heard that over time Armor all will dry out the hoses and cause them to crack. McGuiars rubber and vinyl cleaner is much better and does not dry out the rubber.

I meant chrome, braided, etc radiator hoses, that were mentioned above. Some of that stuff is really expensive.

Armor all was reformulated a few years ago - I would not hesitate to use it.

Good luck.

Chrome hose is OK but for 100 bucks I'd rather keep my rubber hose..buy a bottle of meguires rubber cleaner and spend the remaining 95.00$$ on enough car cleaning products to last 5yrs...and still have enough left over for lunch. God knows I've spent oodles of cash on underhood bling items, but I still like the look of the rubber hose..why I can't say.
