Its gravy and will take all of 10 minutes maybe.... I would release the pressure via the schrader valve on the rail...undo the vac line and 2 Allen bolts I believe...Lift it off...Watch out for the o-ring thats in the bottom...
Lube up the o-ring and re-install...tighten the bolts...done deal...
Do you have a way to now verify the FP??? to set the AFPR???

I like to disconnect the fuel pump relay in the trunk between the driver's side tail light and the carpet molding. Then just crank the car a few times to relieve the fuel pressure. It may start, but it will die soon. This way you dont spray gas all over the place.

Here's my take FWIW....

Yup...you get both ends of the spectrum on AFPR'S....alot of times the stock unit will suffice...Lets say you head to dyno it...No AFPR??? no touchy when the AFR is outta wack...Come back when you put a AFPR on it...
couple lbs of pressure can equal 8-10 ponies...least on my fist dyno session it did...
I think its a nice mod to have...then you have some adjustability....
Example...I slapped my LTs/Prochamber on mine....biggest thing I noticed is its woofing fuel bigtime....puffing a Black cloud when you romp on it....Thats fuel, its way rich... I slapped a Kirban on it...dialed it back 8 lbs...gas milage is back.... ...Then I just dialed it up in increments back to 38 once the puter caught on...
Then theres the ECC that supposedly will put the fuel back where IT wants it...go figure...
All in all a AFPR is a base item for futher mods and tuning these cars...And oh ya....Once you add one...then you need a gage of sorts... :damnit: It never stops...

It took Joe and I that long just to find the damn tools
Seriously, we had a hard time getting into the back bolt to remove it.

Just make sure you check REALLY good for any leaking when you get it running.

I guess you guys are installing yours without removing the upper intake? I never really paid attention to if that could be done, I just threw mine on when I had the intake off this last weekend. Either way though, I can't see it taking more than 30 minutes if you remove the intake.
