KKP at SEMA

Some of us arrived in Vegas today and headed down to check out Sema even though it starts tomorrow. Setup was in full swing and cars were still coming in. We ran into our friends at KingPin and spent half the day helping them get thier cars ready. (should of brought my car) Here are a few pic's from today outside where we were at. I will try and post some updates everyday from Sema and the races this weekend. All pictures will be loaded soon on our website also.
I will keep these all mustangs since this is a mustang forum.

We are here until Sunday so yes its my perfect dream week. Show cars, fast race cars and some other sights.

Nice pictures AD

I was there Thursday which is way early, but they already had some tents sent up and some cars there. I snapped a few, but no stangs, mainly bow tie and trucks. The dream car rental had a new Ferrari which was sweet. Have fun, as the weather will be low 80's last I checked.

The wife and I are heading down Thursday with Grover and his wife. We'll get one day at SEMA and one day at The Strip. Ought to be a good time.

I can't wait! Lets just call in the rest of the week and head down today.
I guess one day will be better than none at all, and maybe if the wifes have enough fun we can make it an annual trip.

Okay. Your average Joe can't just walk into SEMA right? As always, you have to "know" someone or you own a dealership etc.

How can us "Joes" get in? Is anyone up for planning a trip for next years show? I would be willing to put forth the effort to go, just need someone to hold my hand to get in. I'm tall enought to get on all of the rides, just need access.

Can this be done and who would be willing to be my "sponcer"? Great pictures by the way. Agent 47 has a nice set up.

SEMA is open to any auto business people. I work in a car dealership and, technically, could have gone through them if I wanted to dink around with the paperwork. What I did was I paid the state of Washington twenty bucks to register the business name "2D Performance". I'm Dave (one of the D's) and Grover is also Dave. I registered the business as an automotive performance shop. SEMA allows any automotive-related business to have two people attend the show. Tickets cost $15 to get in for one day or the entire thing. You have to preregister and show a copy of your business license and a pay stub or business card showing that you're employed by the business when you pick up your pass. That's it. Next year, I don't even have to pick up the pass. They'll mail it to me.

I like the one of chung. I bet he is thinking tail lights, tail lights... so many tail lights. where is the alteza booth? thanks for the pics Allen. Most of them look like nice cars. I can really get into the engineering, but some are just way too over the top for me. Must be a car show thing. Mikes car is BAD AZZ! Hope he brings it to the race.
