I can't help on the drip rail removal but I just took my front glass out. The trim is really easy to take off once you get the hang of it. I used a putty knife and it worked fine. Basically I used the knife to carefully rock and pry the molding up to loosen it. The old sealer had it stuck on tight. Then what you need to do is locate where the clips are. Once you've done this, you can gently pry up with the putty knife. I found it works best if you can get the blade under the bottom edge (edge that the clips attach to) of the moulding and pry slowly. I did this and every clip released fine and with no damage to the moulding. The hard one was the cowl trim since its one long piece. Very easy to bend. You can also buy a tool to assist you in the removal.
hope this helps.
