knocking amd dinging noise NEED HELP!

I currently own a 2000 gt stang (moded and dynoed at around 305 hp). I rarely push the car and drive at a safe rpm. however i tend to punch it maybe once a week on a straight near my house. Well last week i pushed my car too 90 mph on third gear....... after ishifted into fourth mar started to make loud dinging noises and knocking noises. I was wondering if any of you guys had the same problem or might know what is wrong. THANX

Does it do it all the time now or just under acceleration? Give some more detail.

sounds like you may have some detonation going on...........does it sound like marbles in a can?? If so, you may want to go get a custom tune NOW before you lose a piston or rod.

I took it in to ford rite now and they are having a inspector come out to check the car out. I have a ESP warranty good for 75k. I was wondering if the Ford mustang has any computer programs in the car that can detect REDLINING of the vehicle.
