if i get on it once i get in like 2nd and 3rd gear i hear a knocking like noise in the engine compartment once i go above 3000rpm. shortly there after i can smell something burning. Durning the process the check engine light never comes on during the process and the water temperature remain normal. I did bump up the timing from 10(which was factory) to 12. could this be the problem? any other ideas? thanks!
