Got my "MUstang Emblem LTRS SET stick on" today .. for the rear of the 'stang. Quick question.. how did you guys make sure everything was lined up so perfect ...? I want to finish this project tonight but I dont want to have to wait another 5 weeks for the emblems if I screw it up ! THanks again!

I can't remember what my spacing was, but it's very close to what Dark used...huh, imagine that Anyways, I think mine are about 3 1/2" to 3 3/4" apart on center. What I did was measure from the top inside edge of both tail lights, taped several strips (each a few inches wide to fit between the bottom of the brake lens and the honeycomb panel) of paper together just a little bit longer than that, marked what I measured the width between the lights, went out to the car, taped the paper across the trunk, marked dead center under the third brake light (I believe there is a tiny raised bump on the lens there), took it back inside, laid it on the table, equally divided each half in 4 parts, centered the letters on each of those marks, drew a box around each letter, moved the letters, cut out the boxes. All that wording for a template Back out to the car and taped the template on the trunk. The template allowed for proper location of the letters and ensured I wouldn't have to guess as to where to use the rubbing alcohol for the double sided tape to minimize unnecessary wax removal. The process seems much longer after I typed it out here, but only took me about 10-15 minutes before I was placing the letters on the car. There isn't much adhesive there, but I haven't had any problems with them. I just take care when washing over/around them

I used masking tape. Measured down and ran a strip right below where I wanted the letters. I marked the middle, and then measured out every 4 inches and made a mark on the tape. I centered my letters above the marks. If I did it again, I'd probably put 4" of actual space between the letters, instead of 4" on center. But it's grown on me, and I like where they are now.

I believe so. The center of each letter is 4" from the next, if I remember correctly.

Judging by the honeycomb panel, they are very close to the same!
