Currently I have the "shorty" x-midpipe by magnaflow http://www.steeda.com/store/-catalog/MagnaFlowXShorty.htm
this leaves the factory placement of cats in the stock position but changes the mid H to the X shown... so my question is, theoretically it should be fine to get L/T Headers and have no problem with the cats/xpipe setup? And also what are the best headers for this setup (bbk?) and how much should the part/install cost and where can i find the cheapest headers online? THANKS!!!!!

Oh yah... I have a 2002 GT Mustang and for the exhaust besides the magnaflow shorty X i have the magnaflow magnapacks catback exhaust...so what might hook up nicely with these? thanks! oh yah and the packs and X pipe use 2.5" pipes so maybe a 2.5" header combo for best use? if possible thanks!

BBK headers would be fine, but you'll either have to get a matching X pipe for the new LT headers, or have some custom work done by an exhaust shop to make them work w/ your current X pipe.

when people change the factory headers that match up to the fatory H pipe is there any custom work needed for installing the L/T Headers?

a regular smog place wont pass the visual for long tubes.

not sure if the stock cats will be able to fit the modified shorty pipe.
