larger heat exchanger for street only

if i only drive my car on the street and mostly out of the city do i really need a larger cooler.now im going up to about 13 lbs on my salleen i understand if the temperature gets too hot the timing retards but on the open road a larger cooler cant do but so much cooling can it.

The cooler the air the better for sure and the more boost pressure the more heat you'll be creating. Do you know what the air temps are now?

Well unless you know what the temps are you won't know if it's a problem or not. I know with my setup the stock Kenne Bell heat exchanger keeps up pretty well.

You are going to run 13lbs of boost on a stock block?

i thought i would try it for awhile and if it blows i guess i will put a better motor in.its just a play toy .
