95 GT --- 5 speed + 4.10's + bunch of bolt-ons

ok guys
ive decided im getting the GT40 heads
now, heres my issue
the heads were cleaned up but are bare except for the valves (the guy has them but they are not assembled) so...i need everything to complete it (springs, RR's )

im using the 93 cobra upper n lower intakes that ill get slightly ported n ill sligtlhy port the heads as well

what springs, RR's and most importantly what CAM should i get to see some decent power???????

my definition of --- decent (adj):dee-sent : lots of power gains in high RPM's + drivability :nice:

***on a budget ***

im still young so im not all too educated on what combos produce power even after literally memorizing all the user combos from this forum

with that said - im leaving it up to you guys to decide on the combo since you've never left me hanging so far

thanks every1 at :SNSign:

This will cost you more money but I feel strongly about it :D

Do pick a cam that will make you power :nice:

Do Not pick a cam that will make your Stang have good drivabality :notnice:

Do use a tune to take care of drivability :nice:

I see cam selection based upon drivability as a compromise

I mean ... do we mod to make power or not :Word:

Simply Put ... we use hot rod parts to make power :)
so
Just think of a tune as no different that all the rest of your hot rod parts ;)

I went custom and got everything I expected ... and ... then some

...still havent gotten a solid answer

well i have the heads now (real clean just as the guy said)

but still no progress on springs RR's n cam

i did lots of research but i cant come up with all the stuff or at least cant get all the part nums to order it n so on ....please help with a lil more details and specifics

***n btw how the f*** do i know the lift on valve springs since its not listed anywhere - i got the sizes n all that and the lbs readings that i dunt know whatis for????

There is not gonna be much difference between gt40 & gt40p heads

Remember those iron headed combos I put up for you in that other thread :D

Did you not see anything that came close to what you have in mind

I see the word ... budget ......
An easy way to save some money is to blow off the roller rockers and just
use the OEM rockers ;)

I can assure you ... the rollers are not gonna give you much :nono:

It boils down to ... Too little gain for too much money spent thing :Word:

Have you ever heard of a guy by the name of Buddy Rawls?

He has done a good bit of cam work with OEM iron heads :)

well i made up my mind after spending 7 hrs by the comp last night ..what a long night let em tell you

but here it is !!!

GT40's
GT40 intake
tfs stage 1
reuse my 1.6 rr's
trick flow springs (.540 lift)
& of course a tune a lil while after

what nums should i be looking at??
(the tuner im going to is not all that crazy of a tuner as he will only adjust the fuel n timing)

and of course now im at 231rwhp n 275rwtq as you can see in the sig
