Last pic before I put on the decal and install the cover.
It is a big PITA to paint around the letters. I have been using that paint marker you see in the picture. Covers well but does not get a consistency of the spray.
Would it have been easier to paint it all black, then paint the silver letters by hand?
I have the vector drawing for those, you could just have decals cut in chrome and then they would match the other decal you are getting... just an idea??
Rog No probs...That is my original. Yours is all fud'd up with all the "practicing"
Paul..NO...I tried that..Brush marks on the silver looks bad. It is easier to take a fine brush and "push it up" next to the edge of the letters, keeping it flat on the panel..
RC - that's why you have to let me know when you upload. LOL I move the file and give you a link. It's a safety thing for me to keep people from sharing my FTP setup to their friends. You can upload, but can't see it or use it.
Well, I think Joe and Roger are coming over the 27th to help me (or do) the lower intake gasket, heater hoses, valve covers, and remove the FMU from the fuel lines. I think Ill wait till then to put in on, that way the paint is nice and dry!
Plus..still gotta touch up the black around the letters.
