Had a great day working on the cars today - put on my lower control arms (D&D Motorsports econo box) and boy was that an easy job thanks to Sam (sage2k) helping out.
The arms themselves went on with no problems - had a bit of a time getting the swaybar of all things put back on right and getting the parking brake and abs bracket on there too.
Ended up reversing the stock clips that the sway bar bolts onto and using a grade 8 nut and bolt for the rear holes of the swaybar to mount the bracket (after a slight modification) back on. Came out looking factory.
After that we installed an EGR block plate (EGR has been turned off in the EEC for a while now). The Mach 1 even got some love today... I changed the oil and took her for a spin.
The control arms seem to force the tires to the ground and keep it from moving side to side. It's hard to burn out on the Nittos now.
After that we tackled some mods on Sam's ride - I'll let him post on those.

EDIT: Going to the track tomorrow... we'll see how much the UCA/LCAs really help.
