hello all,

My AC discharge hose has recently begun leaking into my passenger floorboard. I bought a drain snake and went through the tube in the firewall, but there was no debris coming out. It still drips from the drain hose on the firewall, so I thought maybe it was a small blockage.
But I pulled back the carpet and checked under the dash and noticed this:

It's coming out here in a small crack right under the dash. Do I need to simply caulk this, or do I need to take part of the dash apart to get to whatever is causing this?

There is no pressure there so just get some of that black gooey 'how do I get this crap off my hands' stuff and stick it up there.

What you are seeing is probably the water that condenses when warm, moist air hits a cold surface; like drops of moisture on a cold glass of soda or iced tea on a hot and humid summer day.

Seal it up with bathtub silicone sealer or similar type product.
