For my truck but the truck forums are always alot slower response wise....do some boosters have a gasket between it and the master cylinder? I put a new m.c. on my truck, there was no gasket...i have pedal but they fade quickly and you can watch my fluid coming out from between the booster and m.c. and the bolts are tightened all the way.

fluid should not be coming out, sounds to me like your mc is leaking. I dont know about trucks, my '68 Stang did not have any gasket between the mc and booster.

You have a bad piston seal in your master cylinder. There shouldn't be any leakage through there. New doesn't mean good... take it back for an exchange.
