I started my new engine. I had problems with blowing white smoke that smelt like unburnt gas from the right side tailpipe. I changed the injectors, still had the problem. I pulled the computer with the tweecer and put in a spare gt computer. The smoke stopped. I'm speaking to the people who make the tweecer about this.
I'm running in the driveway at 2000 rpm to break in the new rings. The headers got really hot, not quite red, but a dark red. The headers and off road pipes were smoking. This was once it was at normal temperature. I cut it off and let it cool down.
I was running C & L calibrated for 24 lbs and 30 lb injectors. I thought that it would run rich. Was I wrong? Could it be that the computer wasn't allowing enough fuel for the extra cubes?
I have a ProM calibrated for 30 lbs, but I need to solve a plumbing issue since it has a flange end.
