Just wanted to drop in and say that soon I will no longer have a mustang and will not be frequenting (heh, like I have been lately anyways). Ill still answer people's mustang emails (of which I seem to get 10+ a day?).

I'm sure everyone will be surprised to hear that Ill probably be getting a Chev Colorado Sport truck, but I still have a major soft spot for Mustangs and plan to acquire one of thew new ones in the next few years.

Thanks again for being some of the best car related help I have ever found and I wish you all good luck!

Sorry to hear that. I hate GM but those Colorados are nice looking trucks (unlike some of GM's other products...avalanche, asstek, etc.)

It sucks when you leave, my stang is still sittin in the driveway. Th camaro is fast and all, but there's something about that light little POS. You'll end up looking for an justification to get and extra car so you can have a mustang again I promise.

kind of a drastic change from a sweet looking and handling stang to a (IMO) ugly chevy truck but i understand things need to change. Your site was one of the first i found when looking for 2.3 related stuff and kind of inspired me to work on it so Ill be sorry to see you go, But with any luck you'll get tired of the chevy in a hurry and get a 05 stang when they come out. Have a good one man!

sorry but I do agree. Just put the mustang on hold for a while. Buy the truck if your heart desires so(i don't like them much). Then your not out of your car. You know what a dealership would try to do to you. Anyway stop back by some.

Don't get rid of it man. You would never get enough money for it. You will lose money by selling it now and buying another one later. I would take it off the road and park it in the driveway. Get back to it when you have time.

Good luck with either situation.

Hey guys the deed is done. Don't let my decisions cause you any pain. I love the mustang but there was a problem in our relationship, and that was that we both knew the 4-cyl was a practice car. In the 5+ years I had it I went from not being able to change windshield wiper blades to being able to accomplish almost anything. I had to stop the cycle of throwing money at a 'beater' car. It served us better then anyone could expect.

Although this is hard to swallow for some, I'm not specifically tied to one manufacturer... I will always love Mustangs, but further justification for the money being spent on MY mustang was not there for us.

I salvaged some parts from the stang that I re-used in other cars or sold to local friends, the only thing I have left is chiltons manuals and a set of barly used snow tires on steel rims...

I will still be stopping by and also plan to stay Midwest moderator, so I look forward to the day when I can post about my new Mustang purchase!
