Do not remember seeing a similiar posts already so.....
Wondering if anyone has any info on converting tail lights in a 67 fastback to led's? I like what Troy did with the FFF, but I would like mine to be led. I'm ignorant on the subject. I did not know if I had to find some mid-east fellow in a dark alley somewhere to fab me up some, or could I some how convert mine. I don't want to affend anyone . Please excuse my ignorance! I just need some help. Thanks

I put LED taillights in my fastback just a few months ago. They turned out great and were relatively easy to install - the only difficult part was lining them up correctly, and getting a good connection, but that was only because my sockets were corroded. It didn't take long at all, and look great. good luck!

There are several kits on the market now, ranging from a simple replacement for the bulb, to a decent printed circuit board with a forest of LEDs on. Shop around and see what suits you best.

One thing to remember, is that once you delete the rear bulb, your turn signals will be under loaded and will flash too fast - either get a suitable resistor and put that in parallel with the new LED or get an electronic flasher unit. I think Mustang Project do one, URL above.

Post some pics when done.
