i was wondering what length of pushrods i should use with my car. its got a comp cams with 555/565 lift but i put some 1.72's and its roughly 598/605 lift. im using stock heads and stock length pushrods for now, but i had heard that when goin with something over 540 lift, u need to change from stock length. What do you guys think would be the correct length?

Use a pushrod length checker -- they can and do vary from engine to engine...

Like Mike said, the right way is to buy a pushrod length checker. Call Summit they are like $12 and they will send you three different length checkers (push rods) with an adjustable nut that you can adjust for longer or shorter lengths.
I purchased the same kit and here is what I did:

Take a black magic marker and color the top of the valve black. Then place one of the length checkers in, I recommend starting with the stock length, put the rocker on and tighten properly. then turn the crank until the rocker goes all the way up and down. Then remove the rocker and look at the top of your valve. What you want to look for is the rub mark that your rocker just made on the top of the valve. You want to make sure that it stays in the center of the valve. Keep adjusting and tryiong this until you see that you are dead center of the valve. Then you measure then length of your checker and buy the right pushrod!
